The Preparations
Hello readers, So, here is the plan: travel from Anchorage (Alaska) to Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) via Cape Horn, over land, in a (special constructed) truck with 15-20 people during 8 months. Then freewheel for 2 more months, ending up in ...? How about it? This blog is to keep you updated during these 10 months. Welcome! The itinerary: The preps: Visit the dentist, get vaccinations, pack, buy the necessary equipment, store my car, update administration, rent out my house, get all my travel documents and other preparations ... And then... spend some free time in my hometown, saying goodbye to friends and family and waiting for the 6th of June to fly to Anchorage and hop on Madventure's truck and leave on the 9th. This moment... still at work. My last week here at ASML, where I worked for almost 2 years again. Great time, great company, fine colleagues.
