Alaska to Brazil 2017-2018

21/11 Long, long day.... here we go... Rose late, slept in till 9.00. Breakfast in the bar of the hostel, shower, jeans to the clothing repair department of the San Pedro market, ATM, booked a city tour, ran into <whats her name, we also met at the lake 69 hike>, back to the hostel to pack for the city tour, coffee at Los Balcones, where i made a new friend... Let me tell you about the city tour: there is so much inca related archeology here, that i decided to do it all in one afternoon. Together with a zillion other tourists. So, here it is. We (as a group) met at the plaza San Francisco and walked up to the Qorikancha temple/cathedral (the spanish constructed their churches on the fundaments of inca buildings) ... With explanations of Regina , the tourguide ... Then the bus to Q'enqo... Say hello to Pascaline from France... Next stop: Saqsayhuaman (to be pronounced as "sexy woman")... Then up to T...

14/11 Rose at 4.45. Toiletted, prepared packing of the truck, packed myself,  breakfasted,  and on our way to Arequipa. Danger coastal road again ... A long drive. We now still have 70 K to go. Arrive there hopefully before 17.00. Playing sudoku on the truck now. Laterz... Arrived at Arequipa round 17.00. Unpacked, setup the kitchen, put up my tent, checked the wifi, went to the supermarket, ate, did the media. Rest went for a city tour. I was too tired. After all i have 2 days to check out the town. Slept like a baby in my tent, despite the cold. Oh, there are only 5 people who camp. The rest upgraded to rooms. Sissies 😉. 15/11 Woke up at 5. Wifi-ed in my tent. Took a shower at 6.15. Waiting for breakfast now on the camping grass, where we installed our kitchen ... look... At 9.30 we left, to do a city tour. It started at 10.00 and our tour guide kept on talking for 3 hours, non-stop. Very tiring. It should have been called a city talk in stead o...
